FAQ

Tranquilla River Lodge is set in a peaceful natural environment on the banks of the Göksu River. As the riverfront is intentionally preserved in its natural state, there are no safety barriers along the water’s edge, and the water level and current may vary depending on the season.

For the safety of our guests and to preserve the tranquil atmosphere of the lodge, we are unfortunately unable to accommodate children under the age of 12.

This policy is based solely on guest safety and our adult-oriented concept. We sincerely appreciate your understanding.

Yes. Tranquilla River Lodge is a pet-friendly boutique hotel.

We are pleased to welcome well-behaved pets in selected rooms, subject to prior approval.

As we have a limited number of pet-friendly rooms, we may not be able to accommodate your request if those rooms are already occupied or if several pets are staying on the same dates. For this reason, we kindly ask you to contact us before making your reservation.

To ensure the comfort of all our guests, pets are not permitted in our indoor public areas or restaurant. They are, however, welcome to enjoy our spacious outdoor areas with you.

We kindly ask pet owners to ensure that their companions do not disturb other guests. Pets that display aggressive behaviour or bark excessively may affect the peaceful atmosphere of the lodge.

The reservation holder is responsible for any damage caused by their pet during the stay.

No – and that is a conscious choice.

From the very beginning, we chose to create a place where the gentle flow of the Göksu River, birdsong and the natural beauty of Ağva take centre stage, rather than the activity and noise that often surround swimming pools.

Tranquilla River Lodge was designed for guests who wish to slow down, reconnect with nature and experience the quiet rhythm of riverside living.

If you would like to spend time by the sea, Ağva’s long sandy Black Sea beach is just a 10-minute walk away. During the summer months, the public beach offers sun loungers and umbrellas for hire.

One of Ağva’s most beautiful experiences is the delta where the Göksu and Yeşilçay rivers meet the Black Sea. It’s a wonderful place for an evening walk, watching the sunset over the water and enjoying the changing colors reflected on both the river and the sea.

Yes. Complimentary outdoor parking is available for our guests on the street directly in front of Tranquilla River Lodge.

As a small boutique hotel, we do not offer regular room service.

Our rooms are individually positioned throughout the natural surroundings, so to maintain the highest standards of hygiene and to respect the peaceful environment, meals are served exclusively in our restaurant and shared outdoor spaces rather than in guest rooms.

If you have a special request or require assistance at any time, our team is available 24 hours a day. Please don’t hesitate to contact us on +90 532 407 19 54—we’ll always do our best to help.

Rooms are serviced daily between 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm, upon request.

Our daily housekeeping service includes cleaning the bathroom, making the bed, emptying the bins, and replacing any towels left in the shower.

For longer stays, fresh bed linen and towels can be replaced as often as you wish upon request. This approach allows us to provide personalised service while supporting our commitment to reducing unnecessary water and energy consumption.

If you require urgent housekeeping assistance or experience a maintenance issue during your stay, our team is available 24 hours a day. Please call +90 532 407 19 54, and we’ll be happy to assist.

No. In accordance with Turkish Law No. 4207 on the Prevention and Control of the Hazards of Tobacco Products, smoking is prohibited in all indoor guest rooms.

This policy helps us maintain the highest standards of safety, hygiene and comfort for all our guests.

Guests who wish to smoke are kindly asked to use their private balcony or private garden area, where available. We also appreciate your help in protecting the natural environment by disposing of cigarette butts responsibly.

Our standard check-in time is 2:00 pm, and check-out is by 12:00 noon.

Absolutely. Our bungalows combine the warmth and character of natural wood with the strength and comfort of solid stone and masonry construction. This thoughtful blend of traditional materials creates interiors that remain cool in summer, warm in winter, and pleasantly quiet throughout your stay.

All rooms are equipped with central heating and air conditioning to ensure year-round comfort.

For an extra touch of atmosphere, our suites also feature authentic wood-burning fireplaces or traditional fireplace stoves—perfect for relaxing on a peaceful evening by the river.
