A Ritual by the Quiet Waters
At Tranquilla, mornings begin slowly with generous breakfasts served by the Göksu River. We source many of our ingredients from small producers across Turkey, choosing quality, authenticity and seasonality above all else.
Our cheeses come from the Aegean region, olives from Ayvalık, honey from Datça and butter from the villages of Kandıra. Fresh eggs, homemade preserves, oven-baked breads and seasonal vegetables complete a breakfast that celebrates simple, natural flavours.
As the afternoon unfolds, guests gather by the river for our traditional tea hour. Freshly baked pastries, savoury treats and homemade cakes emerge from the kitchen, best enjoyed beneath the trees with a view of the water.
In the evening, our chefs bring together the flavours of the Aegean, the Mediterranean and Turkey's Black Sea coast. Seasonal ingredients, regional recipes and a respect for traditional cooking are at the heart of our kitchen.
At Tranquilla, dining is more than a meal. It is part of the rhythm of the river, the landscape and the slower pace of life that surrounds us.
